| Linen cabinet | Inside of cabinet door. Markings are in heavenly stems so could be 1847, 1907 or 1967. The light timber and patina is inconsistent for a piece over 160 years old. The decoration is very traditional and unlikely considering China was going through the Cultural Revolution in 1967. By deduction therefore, the cabinet is almost certainly 1907. | |
