Wendy Macklin

Wendy Macklin began painting after a long career as a Canberra teacher and Schools Music specialist which is probably why there are always children in her pictures. She was also inspired by the view from her window at Tuross Head, NSW, from where she could see the beach with its happy families and happy dogs.

"South Coast Summer" has been the name of her exhibitions and the works reflect the colour and joy of the traditional Australian summer holiday by the sea.
