Fine Artist, PJ Smith likes to capture a moment in time, in true definition, with attention to the lights and shadows. An artist who practices in drawing and painting, her primary focus of late has been creating works in watercolour.
Her paintings and drawings find beauty and significance in ordinary scenes sometimes with a nostalgic feel. PJ enjoys creating works from a wide area of interests, from still-life, landscape and nature, to portraits and animals.
PJ is a finalist in the John Leslie Art Prize 2020 with “Shepherds Lookout” Gippsland Regional Art Gallery, and also a finalist in the Calleen Art Award 2020 at the Cowra Regional Art Gallery with “I’m still standing.”
