Beachcombing by Kylie Fogarty
A return trip to Woody Heads one Christmas inspired this series of drawings.
There is nothing quite like losing yourself as you comb the beach looking for treasures. These days the shells are less and less, however, my fond memories of these moments will forever call me back to rocks to see what new treasures are waiting to be found.
About the Artist
Kylie Fogarty is a professional mid career artist, based in Canberra.

Kylie utilises drawing as an integral element of her arts practice. She engages the use of line work to depict connections to her subject matter by using expressive yet considered mark making.
This love of drawing has extended into a diverse practice which includes drawing, printmaking, painting and miniature works of art.
