Canberra Night from the Boathouse. by Jennifer Baird
Inspired by a birthday celebration at the Boathouse by the Lake. I loved looking over Lake Burley Griffin to the lights of Kingston Foreshore. The neon blue of the Warren Langley ‘Touching Lightly’ sculpture at the Glassworks and the lights on Red Hill. There were also little solar lights in the plants outside. It is an exploration of painting night, quite a challenge.
