Ming style sideboard
Early 20th century
- 155.5cm wide x 45cm deep x 94cm high
This prominent sideboard is an ideal feature piece for a main living area. The strong straight lines are very reminiscent of furniture design that came out of the Ming dynasty (1368 C.E. – 1644 C.E.) and remained popular. There are very faint traces of original geometric painting that can only be seen in certain light. There is very generous storage space for crockery and cutlery or linen.
