Pond 39/100 by Jennifer Baird is inspired by a trip to China in 1998 where Jennifer saw beautiful lilly pads (Lotus flowers) growing in a pot. Her Chop is in the corner of the lino print in her name.
This work on paper is a lino print with ink background and cutouts. In this work, Jennifer has cut out the lino print and attached it to an ink background. Each lino print is printed individually. Part of the Pond edition but a unique state due to the unique ink wash background.
